I’m so excited that you’re looking at options for courses and training. There are so many great options! I’ve found most of the ones I’ve attended via word of mouth from the pro community that I’m in. The course I mentioned is a by a somatic experiencing (SE) trainer. SE is one of a handful of somatic trauma recovery modalities, and even offers continuing education credits to therapeutic professionals like therapists.
If you’re interested in tools that are specific to professional cuddling, we do cover active listening skills in our 3-day training.
I love cuddling and would love to be a professional. I know from personal experience on how healing cuddling can be. I wanted to ask you what are the best ways to get started? What type of furniture and other things do you have? What is the best site to work with, especially when it comes to taxes? Can joining a site allow me to do my taxes with them? Do any have benefits or would I be needing to get my own? What is a good mindset to have when starting? Sorry to bombard you with so many questions. This is something I’m very interested in trying, but am nervous about when it comes to a few things as well.
