Professional Cuddler Certification
One‑on‑One Mentorship
Become a Professional Cuddler Through Personalized Mentorship
Becoming a professional cuddler is not just about learning techniques.
It’s about embodiment, ethics, boundaries, communication, and self‑awareness.
This certification is now offered exclusively as a one‑on‑one mentorship, allowing us to focus on you: your nervous system, your questions, your values, and your growth.
If you’re drawn to this work as a meaningful practice, this mentorship offers depth, care, and individualized support.
About Me
I’m Jean Franzblau, founder of Cuddle Sanctuary and known online as Cuddle Queen Jean. I’ve been teaching, facilitating, and mentoring in the world of professional cuddling since 2014.
Before founding Cuddle Sanctuary, I spent 18 years as a corporate trainer. I’ve studied facilitation with Cuddle Party and the Association for Talent Development, and I’m a Certified Professional Cuddler. I’m also a cum laude graduate of UCLA and have continued my professional learning with The School of Consent.
My work has been featured in outlets such as The Los Angeles Times, BuzzFeed, Rolling Stone, Good Mythical Morning, and Dr. Phil. More importantly, I bring warmth, humor, discernment, and deep respect for consent‑based practice into every mentorship relationship.
If you’re seeking a thoughtful, relational approach to learning professional cuddling, I would be honored to mentor you.
How the Mentorship Works
Rather than following a fixed cohort schedule, we collaborate to design a mentorship flow that supports both depth and real life.
Our work together may include:
- Conversation and reflection
- Skill‑building and experiential learning
- Integration and emotional processing
- Responsive pacing that honors your capacity
Mentorship sessions are scheduled collaboratively, allowing flexibility while maintaining momentum.
Areas of Focus
While each mentorship is personalized, areas of focus often include:
- Ethics, consent, and professionalism
- Session structure and safety practices
- Boundaries, communication, and client interactions
- Emotional awareness, regulation, and self‑attunement
- Building a sustainable professional cuddling practice
This is not about rushing through material—it’s about internalizing what it means to practice responsibly and confidently.

This mentorship may be a good fit if you:

Group Training Option
I no longer offer group‑based professional cuddler certification programs.
If you’re specifically seeking a group training experience, I wholeheartedly recommend the certification program offered by my trusted colleagues at Cuddlist. I’ve taken their training myself and have been genuinely impressed by the quality, care, and professionalism of their work.
If you choose that path, you’ll be learning from people I respect and trust.
