As a professional cuddler, it’s helpful to have easy, beginning cuddle positions up my sleeve. One great starter position that’s great for those who don’t know each other well is companioning. Many people at cuddle workshops love this position, too, because it’s so easy going.
Companioning simply means sitting side by side. You can companion without touching at all. This can allow you to get used to being close to each other. You can also choose to companion with your upper legs and shoulders touching. And feel free to try my favorite – companioning while holding hands.
