I walk on the grass barefoot daily. Last night, I danced and feasted with friends. It is a sweet time and – with what’s happening in the world – also a heart rending one.

I want to share with you a quiet change happening inside of me.

Though I continue to see clients one-on-one, I’ve noticed myself needing a break from leading my local cuddle events.

It feels like something new is emerging but it isn’t yet clear to me what that is. That’s kind of uncomfortable! Even so, I’m doing my best to respond respectfully to my inner request for a pause on events.

So I’ve cleared my calendar to create space for what wants to grow next. (And when!)

For many of us, cuddle gatherings are important. Especially for those who have found a precious sense of safety and belonging here. I see you and care about you. I need places like Cuddle Sanctuary, too!

The good news is: there are other people creating beautiful, thoughtful, connective spaces right now. I’m genuinely grateful for that. It means that while I step back, the wider ecosystem is still very much alive.

If you’re looking for places to land, you might explore:

There’s a lot happening in Southern California—more than any one person can hold—and I feel real appreciation for the folks who are stepping up to create those spaces.

Maybe I’ll see you at one of those as a fellow guest!

Thank you for being part of this community, in whatever way you have been. That connection doesn’t disappear just because my events are taking a break.

With care,

Jean
